Custom Reference Data#
By default the reference data tools read from the bundled OneTick Cloud coverage files. On-prem and custom deployments can replace these by pointing CSV_DATA_PATH at a directory containing their own files.
CSV_DATA_PATH=/path/to/your/reference-data/
Important
The configured directory fully replaces the default — there is no merging. All 7 files must be present or the corresponding tools return empty results.
No server restart is required — changes to files in CSV_DATA_PATH take effect on the next request.
Setup checklist#
Create a directory containing all 7 files listed in Data source.
Use the exact filenames — the MCP server discovers each tool by looking for its corresponding filename in
CSV_DATA_PATH.Use tab-separated format with a header row — see File schemas for required columns and examples.
Set
CSV_DATA_PATHto your directory path.Verify by starting the server and calling
list_databases— it should return your databases.
See Reference Data Tools for the full file mapping, required columns, and example rows for each file.
